Course Description

Stressed for Success: A quick micro-learning course for reducing stress and anxiety

Living in a constant state of stress is not good, and yet, most of us are “stressed for success”. We think the busier we are and the more pressure we are under proves that we are the right person for every job. Your body reacts, though, to stress and anxiety with short bursts of cortisol (commonly known as the “stress hormone”). Like a weak yet potent poison, negative stress creates a slow drip of cortisol through your body which increases your risk of hypertension and problems with your heart. Extremely long-term stress can lead to a reduction in your immune system that triggers all kinds of health issues that can create the opposite of what we would consider to be successful.

Learning quick techniques to manage your stress and anxiety can lead to better outcomes and higher level thinking. In fact, reducing your stress and using effective coping methods for anxiety, can lead you to make better decisions, get a better night’s sleep, have improved digestion, and increase the amount of joy, happiness, and peace you can experience daily.

Stressed for Success is a micro-learning, 2-week, quick course that is interactive and easy. No boring slide shows with the author droning on and on while you fall quickly into a stuper and quietly curse the person who recommended or “made” you take the course. Nope. This experience will be different because we thought about you when we created it. The busy person who doesn’t have much time to learn about stress and practice ways to reduce it because, well, you are SLAMMED BUSY, right?

So here’s what you’ll learn in micro-learning short pieces about 3x a week for the next 2-weeks:

  • The causes and origin of stress
  • How your brain reacts to stress and anxiety
  • The different types of anxiety that we all experience
  • How to identify and get rid of the “bully in your brain”
  • Quick ways to erase current and past stress and anxiety triggers
  • Easy to practice exercises that you can do, immediately, to reduce your stress and anxiety

You’ll even get an opportunity to speak directly with the author, during an interactive on-line forum, and ask him your questions about how you can best use the course to well, de-stress.

There’s only one rule before you begin taking the Stressed for Success micro-learning course. Don’t stress about it.
